Since 1999, CanSpec has offered energy efficiency expertise to home and building owners across Northern Ontario.

Serving clients in Sudbury, North Bay, Timmins, Sault Ste. Marie, Thunder Bay and surrounding areas, our certified energy advisors provide home and building owners with a comprehensive energy assessment, identifying how their buildings use energy and where it is being wasted.

We are very proud of the fact that we receive the majority of new business based on referrals from past customers. Offering energy assessments, ENERGY STAR and R-2000 testing, heat loss/heat load calculations, infrared inspections and draft proofing, we are the energy efficiency experts of Northern Ontario.

In the Community

CanSpec recognizes that we have a responsibility to give back to our community, and so we have offered our services at no cost to many different organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, Kinsmen House, Canadian Hard of Hearing Dream Home, Nipissing University EcoVillage and EarthCare Sudbury. We also make an annual food donation to our local food bank in Garson.
