You can see a list of the grants and the technical requirements here: http://www.oee.nrcan.gc.ca/residential/personal/pdf/ecoENERGY-grant-table-20110606b.pdf. The exterior insulation is listed on page seven. It does not matter what brand of insulation you buy, it's all about the R-value.
